Music

At Church Lane Primary School we use a scheme of work which supports all of the requirements of the National Curriculum and gives children access to a wide range of musical concepts and experiences and has been designed by our very own music specialist. The  Scheme provides teachers with week-by-week lesson support for each year group in the school. It is ideal for specialist and nonspecialist teachers and we provide lesson plans, clear progression, and resources to support every lesson. The Scheme is in line with the model music curriculum dosucment produced by the DFE. The learning within this scheme is based on: Listening and Appraising; Musical Activities - creating and exploring; and Singing and Performing.
