Couch 2 Toyko
#Couch2Tokyo challenge.
The aim of this challenge is for the school to work as a team and cover the 5855 MILES from Carre’s Grammar School to Tokyo. To complete this, staff and children can use different methods of being active to build up the school’s total. This can be anytime, anywhere as long as the distance is recorded and uploaded to the Microsoft form attached.

The above poster contains the QR code to scan and log miles. Don’t forget to tag you activities using #Couch2Tokyo and @CGSOutreach on twitter.
We encourage you all to try this challenge and celebrate the curricular and extra-curricular miles that may be completed. This can be anything from a daily mile as a class to a child’s stroll, scoot or cycle to school. It is a whole school effort!
Active Maths
On Friday 16th October, the Year 2 class took part in an Active Maths challenge. This supported them in rehearsing answers to multiples questions, as well as keeping them active and developing team work. The weather was poor, but this didn't stop them having lots of fun, whilst learning!
